National Heritage Foundation is the gold standard of donor-advised funds. NACEC members may recieve special benefits when they help their clients begin a foundation at NHF.
If you are either a PDO or PDO-RF you may not take personal compensation. We will, however, set aside funds in your Donor Advised Fund at NHF where you may ONLY make non-binding recommendations as to gifts to charities and charitable activities at home and abroad, according to the rules governing Donor Advised Funds. You may not make a recommendation for a grant that would result in you, or a person related to you, receiving an "incidental benefit," e.g., satisfying a pledge that you previously made to your church, or receiving box seats to the theatre.
If you are associated with a licensed, SEC-approved Broker Dealer, NHF may permit your firm to assist in the management of part of NHF's portfolio at no more than your firm's usual, reasonable charges.
