Dr. J.T. Houk, JD, PhD, CPhD, whom everyone calls "Dock," is the CEO of the National Heritage Foundation (NHF). The NHF, which he began in 1968, is one of the largest charities of its kind in the world and has brought all the advantages of a public foundation to family donors. Dr. Houk is an originator in the field of fundraising for charities, known as "Philanthropic Marketing." A graduate of Brown University and the University of Economics Helsinki (Fulbright), he earned his JD from LaSalle University and PhD from American University.
